Kupualau is our curriculum and program development initiative that educates and advocates for a healthy Hawaiʻi.  Our goal is to produce and implement educational programs and curriculum that honor the connection between kānaka, ʻāina, and akua.  Our programs seek to address modern issues and build problem-solving skills through Hawaiian knowledge.

The following are the programs available for visiting groups to choose from:

·            Aloha ʻĀina: Strengthening one's relationship with the land through environmental restoration

·           Mana 'Ai: Cultivating the principles of food sustainability which enable the nourishment of the body & ʻāina

·           Mālama I Ka Wai: Experiencing the value of Hawai'i's fresh water systems through stream management

·           E Hana 'Ike: Contributing to the needs of Waipao in service projects like planting, weeding, & mulching (available for 7th grade and up)

Depending on availability, we may be able to offer small "craft" projects (additional fees may apply)

The minimum educational program fee is $175 or $7/person for groups of 26 or more.  Kupualau can also offer hana noʻeau projects and customized educational programming to our community.
